The herbs contained in this ointment (Arnica and St. John's Wort) are traditionally used to stimulate the immune system, thus bringing circulation to injured, painful or inflamed areas. While herbalists use this ointment especially for bruises and sprains, it can also be beneficial for rheumatic and neuralgic pain and hemorrhoids.Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner before using with allergies or sensitivities to the Asteraceae/Compositae plant family.Consult a health care practitioner before using with prescription or other medication and before using with pre-existing medical or acute conditions or disease or if symptoms persist.May inhibit platelet function and test results, decrease prothrombin time/ international normalised ratio test results in patients treated with warfarin, or elevate Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) levels and test results.Discontinue use if you experience edematous dermatitis and eczema or other allergic skin reactions.Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.Avoid concomitant use with other herbs or supplements unless under the supervision of a health care practitioner.
